Canadian Premier League side Edmonton have completed the signing of highly-rated Peruvian winger Raúl Tito, the club have confirmed. Edmonton had been tracking the player in the last few months and have had up to two bids for him rejected in the past by his former club Santos Nasca. The deal to transfer the 23-year-old winger was initially agreed last year but due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, coupled with the series of world-wide lockdowns, he was unable to travel to Canada to complete the final details of the transfer.
He will now bring more dynamism to the Edmonton attack line with his characteristics, and the FCE head coach Alan Koch could not hide his delight after the club completed the transfer. Koch said he is thankful that the deal has now been signed, sealed, and delivered and that the player’s attacking creativeness and dynamic ability will be needed as they look to make a huge statement in the 2020/2021 season.
Following his 2019 record of two goals and two assists, while playing for Perry’s second division club Cienciano, he played a part in helping the club earn promotion to Peru’s top-flight Liga 1. He initially made his professional debut in 2014 for Sport Boys and now joins as many as 1w new players to be announced as new signings at Edmonton.
